Organized User Groups That Meet on a Monthly Basis to Share Information and Solve Problems

Microsoft Access User Group

The Access User Group meets one Thursday morning per month to share ideas and solve member problems.

Meetings last one hour and discussion subjects are determined by those attending. Anyone may become a member. Members Access knowledge and skills range from beginner to power user.

The Access User Group also shares a listserv that allows for ongoing conversations between members between meetings.

Web Design User Group

We are in the early stages of creating a Web Design User Group . This group would meet monthy at a time to be determined by the greatest number of members. Issues discussed could range from general web design topics to specific use or the UAlbany Web Templates.

Photoshop and Graphics User Group

Depending on community interest, we may also start a Photoshop and Graphics User Group. This group could discuss image manipulation and preparation issues especially as apply to web and newsletter development and use.
