Special Sessions

Targeted classes that help your office get the instruction that it needs. |
ITS Computer Application Training can schedule special sessions expressly for your office, division or cohesive group.
These Sessions/Workshops are meant to developed as a synthesis or duplicate of existing scheduled classes. This workshop will then be provided to your department staff at a specially organized time and place. They can range from a full course series to single overview sessions.
An example of this service might include a professor who asks for a special session to give students a head start using Access or Excel so that gained skills can be used for projects within the class. Another example is a departmental supervisor requesting a private session of one or more existing classes that the entire staff can attend together.
If you have a special need to discuss, please contact Tom Bessette.
New Sessions
On occasion, someone suggests an area of learing that is currently not being addressed. This can be for an entirely new application or for a more advanced workshop in something that is already offered. For example, our offering of SAS and SPSS began as special requests that ended up being part of our regularly scheduled curriculum.
We will always be limited by time and especially our ability to find an instructor that can offer the workshop.
If you have an idea of a needed subject, or especially if there is something that you feel you could teach, please contact Tom Bessette.
